How it compares with the last Trades draw

This is the second Trades Occupations round of 2026. The first was draw #408 on April 2, 2026. It invited 3,000 candidates at a minimum score of 477.

Draw #447 is larger by 500 invitations. Its minimum score is 1 point lower.

The tie-breaking rule is the date and time used when several candidates have the same lowest score. Candidates with that score who submitted their profile before the tie-breaking date and time were invited.

What this means for you

  • You are in the pool with trades experience: compare your CRS score with 476. A score at or above the cut-off does not guarantee an invitation in a future draw, because cut-offs change in every draw.
  • You are in the pool without a trades profile: this draw was for Trades Occupations only. Other draws follow different rules.
  • You are not in the pool yet: check whether you are eligible before you create a profile.

What to do next

  1. Check your score with the IRCC CRS tool.
  2. Keep your Express Entry profile up to date. Your language test results and documents must not be expired.
  3. If you receive an ITA, read it carefully for the exact deadline to submit your application.
