We check facts against IRCC, the Canada Revenue Agency, Service Canada, provincial governments, regulators and transit agencies, and link to them so you can verify.
Dated and labelled
Every guide shows when it was last reviewed. Costs, rents and exchange rates are labelled as estimates with an “as of” date.
Reviewed on a schedule
High-traffic guides on immigration, health coverage and money are reviewed monthly; everything else at least every six months, and immediately when rules change.
Plain language, no advice
We explain how things generally work. We say clearly when your situation needs a licensed immigration consultant, lawyer, tax professional or doctor.
Corrections, fast
If something is wrong, we fix it and update the review date. Tell us through our contact page.
Named reviewers for high-stakes guides.
Immigration guides will be reviewed by a licensed immigration consultant (RCIC), and tax and money guides by qualified professionals. Each reviewed guide will show the reviewer’s name, credentials and the date of review.
Until a guide shows a named reviewer, it has been checked by our editorial team against the official sources linked on the page.
