Your CRS score
What would add the most points
Each line shows the gain from that one change on its own. Combined changes can add up differently.
Compared with the latest draws
Latest cut-off per draw type, as of Oct 1, 2026, and the difference from your score. Category draws only invite people who meet that category’s criteria. See the full draw tracker.
How your CRS score is built.
The Comprehensive Ranking System scores every Express Entry profile out of 1,200. Most points come from four areas: core human capital (age, education, language and Canadian work experience, up to 500 without a partner), spouse factors (up to 40), skill transferability (up to 100) and additional points (up to 600, almost all of it a provincial nomination).
Since March 25, 2025, IRCC no longer gives points for a job offer. Express Entry draws invite the highest-scoring candidates, either from the whole pool or within a category such as the Canadian Experience Class, French-language proficiency, or healthcare occupations.
What this calculator assumes.
- It uses the single-applicant grid unless you say your spouse or partner will come with you.
- Language levels are CLB (English) or NCLC (French). Use our CLB converter to turn test scores into levels.
- Work experience must be skilled (TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3) to count. We can’t check your occupation.
- French points need NCLC 7 in all four French abilities: 25 points, or 50 if your English is CLB 5 or higher in all four.
- It is an estimate for planning. Your official score is the one in your Express Entry profile.
