The five draws

These draws come from the AAIP processing information page, which showed "Last updated: October 21, 2026". Stream names are copied as the page gives them.

97 + 53 + 25 + 386 is 561 counted invitations. That total leaves out the Law Enforcement draw, because Alberta gives no exact number for it.

The October 9 Priority Sectors (Health care) draw and the October 13 Dedicated Health Care Pathway draw are two different streams. Do not mix them up.

What the scores mean

The minimum scores above are AAIP EOI scores. They are not CRS scores from Express Entry. The page also says "AAIP draws are not regularly scheduled" and "EOI score is not the only factor AAIP uses to select candidates for invitation." A higher score does not guarantee an invitation, and a score at the minimum does not guarantee one either.

Alberta's 2026 totals

2026 figureNumber
Allocation6,603
Nominations issued5,831
Spaces remaining772
Applications to be processed856

The worker EOI pool totals 33,291 profiles. The page notes that Express Entry allocations "may be exceeded under a small Express Entry administrative overage". That is why one table can show more nominations than its allocation. It is not an error.
