How much gold can I carry to Sri Lanka from Canada?
- Jewellery: Only bona fide personal jewellery in reasonable quantity may be brought in. Sri Lanka Customs does not publish a gram limit, and gold jewellery must be declared.
- Bars and coins: Not allowed as passenger baggage. Rough or unfinished jewellery, ingots and gold biscuits cannot be imported or exported by passengers.
- Declaring: Declare gold jewellery, gems and foreign currency to the Customs Arrival officer when you land.
