How To Immigrate ?
Unlike other countries, there are two ways to immigrate to Canada: 1) Federal Skilled Worker Class; and 2) Business Class: Investors, Entrepreneurs and Self-employed Persons. The selection criteria is based on a Point Rating System, on which one has to qualify. In addition, applicants are required to pass a medical examination and each applicant, 18 years of age or above, is required to provide a police clearance certificate. The applicant is also required to show financial solvency for the settlement process. Again, we can assist you with this process.

There are Provincial and Territorial Nominee Programs for each category. An applicant must satisfy the criteria set by the provinces before submitting an application under the Federal Immigration Program.

Skilled Category:
Skilled workers are people who tend to become permanent residents of Canada based on their ability to become economically established. The selection criteria is based on a Point Rating System utilizing six factors: age, education, language ability (English and/or French), work experience, arranged employment and adaptability. The pass mark is 67. The applicant must have at least one year of full-time work experience within the past 10 years in one of the occupations listed in Skill Type 0, A or B of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) which was developed by the Human Resources Services Development Canada. You do not qualify if you do not have:

  • Experience listed in skill type 0, A or B of NOC.
  • Experience did not occur within 10 years of the date of application.
  • Less than one year's experience.
  • Work experience is in restricted occupation.
  • Investors:
Investors must demonstrate their experience in a qualifying business and their control of a percentage of equity of that business for at least two years in the five years preceding the application date. Investors must have a minimum net worth of C$800,000 and invest C$400,000 in a single program managed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. The fund will be locked in for 5 years from the date of immigration, after which it is reimbursed to the investor, without interest. The net worth must have been legally obtained. Spouse’s assets are also included when assessing net worth. You can also finance your investment amount through banks or financial institutions, a service we provide.
    Entrepreneurs:
This category is for those who wish to own and actively manage a business in Canada. Entrepreneurs must demonstrate the experience of managing a qualifying business with equity ownership. A minimum net worth of C$300,000 is required to apply as an entrepreneur. Visas are issued on the following conditions:

  • The entrepreneur must purchase a suitable business in Canada within three years from the date of landing.
  • The business must hire at least one person other than the entrepreneur and his/her dependents.
  • The entrepreneur must directly manage the business on an ongoing basis.
  • The entrepreneur must regularly report to the immigration officer about the business performance, as per the terms and conditions stipulated in the visa.
  • Self-employed:
Applicants under this category must demonstrate their intention and ability to establish or purchase a business in Canada. This business must create an employment opportunity for themselves and make a significant contribution to the economy, or the cultural or athletic life in Canada. No immigration conditions are imposed on this class.
